Debbie, because the sun room was a add on I did not run the steam heat into that room. It was cheaper and worked out good for the plants. It is open to the kitchen so it gets the heat from that room and if I do not turn the electric baseboard heat on in that room it stays cool. All those floor to ceiling windows keep that room real chilly. I had to choose a bigger kitchen or a sun room. So this set up I got both. Eventually I am going connect a greenhouse on to the sun room.
Audrey at one point I had planned to move to a much warmer climate but life happened Mom got sick and had to care for her so I just brought a bigger house and stayed.
If I had moved I had planned to still keep a small house to come home to for the holidays and a little R&R through the winter. I want to see snow for the holidays and I like sitting by the fireplace with a good book and some music. Snow and Ice force me to sit down.
If I can get out I will not stay in and sit down. I have 3+ acre of land and I am always out there doing something. I come in rest get on the computer for awhile and go back out.
