Thank you for your response, I am sure your palm gets more heat and sun than mine can in your zone, being here in Montana, it is already past time to set plants outside here.

This plant I had for about 3-4 years before I started putting it in the full sun outside in the summer, it never grew at all in those first years, but has gotten into it since I have been giving it the sun treatment during the summers. I give it lots of water in the summer, not so much when it is inside. It will be interesting to see what it does next year, maybe long fronds again.
