Joker has a couple of big fat buds. No where near the 10-15 that is normal but since they were not there yesterday they may be there tomorrow.
I checked where the deer have been walking and saw that my coriacea has a baby leaf up with an additional bud. Normally it is my first to bloom about March 27 but appears that it will not be blooming until later. When emerges from soil forms a wonderful goblet shape of foliage before the foliage flattens then it blooms a nice pink single.
