Thanks, everyone for your responses. As short as our growing season it, it's probably better for me to start from new plants each year. Mine are still looking lovely even though it got down to 32 degrees this morning. Tomorrow morning is supposed to be down in the 20s, so that will probably put an end to my salvia and pineapple sage (which is still so beautiful).
