I love love love squash and pumpkins! One day I hope to grow enough to be able to fill a pickup. The diversity blows me away. I love all of the different shapes and textures, not to mention the good eats.

An all time favorite of our family is Long Island Cheese. Talk about a beautiful pumpkin!

Another one is Greek Sweet Red. It is a beautiful Btternut type squash that is much sweeter than a normal Butternut. See my pic in the database. (I would put it here, but don't know how).

Finally three is the violina rugosa which is a huge and bumpy/wrinkly butternut. I have not grown it, due to its long season. I got some sees from Adaptive seeds of this variety that requires a shorter season, bred for the Northwest. I will try it in 2016.
