What color were the blooms?

Wax Plant (Hoya carnosa) can have splashes in the leaves; flowers are usually white to pale pink:


Or possibly one of the H. pubicalyx varieties; http://garden.org/plants/searc... some have splashes in the leaves.

H. pubicalyx usually has darker pink to purplish flowers:
