Background history:

'Mountain Top Experience' is a dormant diploid introduced in 1988 by Temple. (No information about the hybridizer.)

Mountain Top Experience is a early bloomer with an extended bloom period. It has also been converted to a tetraploid. It has earned the following AHS awards: Honorable Mention: 1991 and HOS: 1993. It is pod and pollen fertile with 27 registered children. http://garden.org/plants/paren...
