Jay, let us know how it turns out. I tried to do the same for use as a duck pond, using all the stray half empty cans of spray paint in the barn (gray, green, brown) but none of them stuck well. They were all different brands/types, from Rustoleum to who knows what. I ended up pressure washing the pond back to the kiddy pattern of mermaids and treasure chests, and also got rid of the duck. I'd be interested in your idea though - still have the pond but no kiddos.
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.
