Gosh, I started to do this, then had to go back to work the other day and forgot!!

Bold Heritage was sold to me as Border Heritage in the fall of 2008. Somewhere on this site, someone explained to me why. If I remember correctly (couldn't find the reference thread), the Salters had a garden name of Border Heritage, then when it was registered it got changed to Bold Heritage.

Anyway, I just love the bouquet BH has when it gets going strong. It only opens up all the way when it gets warm, so on cooler days, it doesn't look quite as good. But it has a long bloom season for me, about 3 weeks, from mid June to after the 4th of July.

It has increased nicely, but I don't have an exact count. It probably would have increased more if I had divided it a few years ago, but it has not been divided since I purchased it.

This pic kind of shows the branching and bud count, I don't have an exact number, but it is well spaced and a decent bud count. This was taken on June 1, 2012 when the dl's bloomed about 2 weeks earlier than normal. You can see how the blooms don't quite open up all the way.

In the spring of 2009, I bought the pod parent, Border Music. When Border Heritage and Border Music both bloomed the following year, I thought I had bought the same daylily twice, they looked so much the same. In 2014, I gave the whole clump of Border Music to a friend.

Here is the comparison picture I took in my garden. Bold Heritage on the left, Border Music on the right.
