I wonder if placing chicken wire on the soil until they start sprouting would deter them. Flower bulbs are too expensive to feed them. It's bad enough that the would leave the Bradford pear tree in my yard, run up my Keiffer pear tree and steal the largest pear. That thing was bigger than the squirrel. Blinking I didn't know whether to laugh or to cry. Confused If I didn't see it with have my own eyes, I Would never have believed it. Come on, I don't mind sharing with God's creatures, but must they be greedy? Shrug!
