Orange Harvest. Because not only is it beautiful, but it has a four-bud stalk on it right this very minute, with the topmost bud finally showing as open this morning...and it is pouring down rain for the first time since July. Sticking tongue out Thinking that a photograph would be useless. Shrug! Hilarious! Have had it about seven years. It always blooms in Fall for me and only once--this year--has bloomed in Spring. A most unusual Iris. Smiling

Fashionably Late. My sister is a take-it-or-leave-it Iris person (horrors!) and she went ga-ga over this one.

Fit for a King. This one is somewhat delicate(?) here. The flooding rains we had in May didn't help, but two of three rhizomes died out and the one in the photographs is struggling. I moved it this week hoping the new location would be more congenial for it.
