Hi, my name is Doris, and I have a daylily addiction and a husband who has the same addiction. Need I say more?

As of today, we do not have any new ones coming in 2016. We got 3 new fall intros last month from Floyd Cove and added some of Pete Harry's three weeks ago. If we plant in the fall, we will get blooms next year. If we plant in the spring, we may get blooms. We still have many in pots to put in the ground before cold weather gets here. (Hope to get most of these planted this coming week.) I am praying that the Weather Channel is correct in forecasting that the SE U.S. will have a warm fall into December. So far, the forecast has been accurate. By December I will be ready and wanting a cold winter.

We will no doubt give into temptation over the winter once the new catalogs start arriving in the mail and websites are updated. I have already emailed Tim Herrington telling him that I will be watching for his updated website. I want to get some of his new intros before they all get sold out. Our local daylily club will have Greg Goff speaking in January, Pete Harry in February, Jan Joiner in March, and maybe Jamie Gossard in April. They will all bring daylilies to auction, and this arm or David's will be shooting up too often without knowing where that particular daylily will be planted. We will be in trouble in no time, and I'll be asking again, "How did I let this happen (AGAIN!)? Where in the world will these daylilies go? Better still, which daylilies must leave so these new ones can be planted?
