I can see my Giant Yam Amorphophallus paeoniifolius pushing up the soil, which seems a little early to me. I think I will separate out all the tubers next year too. There were three little ones last year but it did not flower. Pictures soon.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
