I love the blue of the phlox as a backdrop to the Black-Eyed Susans, it really makes the yellow pop! I'm a big fan of blue flowers as backdrops, in general. Do you notice any invasive tendencies of the blue phlox? I thought I had read that it spreads quickly, so I stayed away from it, but you're making me want to re-visit the idea of having phlox in my garden.
