Does anyone here have any actual experience growing the large flowering hyacinths near a black walnut tree - - to warn me against.

I wasn't planning to, but bought some Hyacinth bulbs on clearance at Menards. I'm not really into planting them, but just recently moved a short row of peonies that seemed to be affected by the black walnut tree. When I had originally planted the peonies 10 or more years ago, the walnut tree wasn't as tall and leaning.

To save having to do a lot more digging, I'd love to just plant the hyacinth bulbs where the peonies were.
