Thanks, Lynn, for the explanation of your drainage and the way you changed your soil and beds. I've always loved the way you plant semps in the cinder block holes. Was that your idea? I would not have thought it would look so attractive, but it really does. Some of the blocks toward the back of this picture seem to have a nice stone-like texture to the outside. I like that, too. When we get moved in and settled in Tennessee, I hope to do a section with the super draining soil and succulents. Can't wait to have a yard again after a tiny patio.
