All of these photos were taken with my new camera. Wow, what a difference! None of these photos have been edited at all. I am trying out the camera & familiarizing myself with all it's functions & capabilities. I am not editing anything at this point so I can get a true gauge of what this camera does. The camera isn't truly going to be put in use until Christmas as it is actually my Christmas present but I do need to check it out to make sure everything is working properly in case I need to make a warranty claim.

In other news; I thought all my hummers had left but the past 4 days we have seen 1 sipping from the firespike. It's either one of our regulars that decided to stick around or it's a migrating hummer who has dropped in to visit. I tend to think it would have been gone by now if it was just passing through though. Anyway, I enjoy still seeing a hummer around & it has fresh syrup & the trumpet honeysuckle, salvia and firespike are still blooming for it to nectar from.

We saw our Northern Flickers a few days ago & it's nice to see them back.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
