Yup, Parker Pen Co. was here and a major employer for years. People quit buying the expensive pens and went for the bic. Now they are out of business. And then GM left here, and made this into almost a ghost town. And to think the city is annexing a couple thousand acres of prime farm land when about a 20% of the homes in town are abandoned due to repossession. Now let's see, we can add all this land and change it from prim agricultural land into concrete and black top. Let's just leave the empty homes to rot or be bought up by slum lords and have a nice inner city slum. Sounds like a wonderful plan to me.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
