Just to show what I do with the 'free' hanging baskets. Here's a closeup of one in another "planter pot."

That planter pot has no drainage hole. Actually, there's a marked "drill here for drainage," but I don't have a matching saucer, so I haven't drilled it. So the nursery basket is my pot with drainage, and the decorative outer pot serves as a catch basin when I (over)water the plant.

Here's the whole hanger that I made for that one.

That's one I have for indoor use. It has a built in light socket with a red/blue LED grow light in it.

The basil was some tops I planted last week. They seem to be starting to root now, and should be growing soon.

Since this is a "show and tell" discussion, here's another recent acquisition/creation.

That's a peppercorn vine I just got Saturday, in a 12 inch round, 12 inch deep pot (about 5 gallons) in a hanging planter I created for it with a built in "trellis net" for it to grow up. That one is also set up for grow lighting.

Is there a place here on AllThingsPlants to review vendors? I bought that online, and what I got was a really nice plant, exactly as shown, although it arrived in a 4" round nursery pot. The price was great, and the plant I got was much bigger and much nicer than the online pictures.
