love those spathogalotis...they are hardy here in Florida ?..Do they bloom on and off all year?...or is this their season?
I have found through trial and error...some colored flowered blooms do better on over cast days..others in full sun..I hardly ever get a good picture with a flash..unless it's a 'fill flash' in other words...the plant is in the shade..but there is a patch of bright sunlight behind the flower ( which fools the camera meter)..mostly..I put the plant in full sun with shade just behind. and that makes the background disappear...and the flower colors are deep and rich..if there's diamond dusting on the petals I can usually capture it this way as well.
