Yeah - they don't even make an attempt to give them away to someone who could use them in the community - habitat for humanity for example.
I am a Master Gardener and a Master Naturalist and I am gonna approach them to see if they would donate material to one of my groups. If nothing else, we could use them on our huge parkway system that has numerous parks. May be a pain though, as I understand that the decision is made by the wholesalers as HD does pass through. What a freaking waste. And I know they had a lot of stock as I had been there earlier last week and picked up some stuff at 75 % off.
