Bob, thank you for pointing that out. That's exactly why I was creating my own databse. It's going to give me a real leg up because I was getting tired of doing all of the research. I already had figured out that the h. villosa varieties would not work in my arid climate, but had planned to do more research this winter.

I am so glad they did the work for me ... Sticking tongue out

So far, my biggest problem has been with leaf scorch due to my high summer temps and since I live at a higher elevation, full sun is different that full sun elsewhere. With the drought, I've had difficulty siting the plants.

I can't buy them locally, so I feel like I need to really hedge my bets before I purchase a plant by mail order.

The lineage info will really help a lot.
