Thanks Elaine! The plant is in the ground with nothing around it so there's great air circulation but many leaves have fallen to the ground and I notice when I do touch a leaf to remove it, that orange rust floats around like a powder!! I just thought it was so weird that I've had this plant for 6 or 7 years and never had any rust issues until last summer. At our house down south I'm going to be limited for open, sunny locations so I do hope I can find a spot for it, if not my sister might want it because they have a lot of sun on their property. I gave her about eight or ten plumeria cuttings last year and she kept them in pots for a long time and planted them in her backyard this past spring but she put them right up beside the house so they haven't grown much or bloomed yet. I keep telling her they need to be out in full sun ... I'll have to ask the next time I talk to her whether she ever moved them.
