Armando, I would leave it as you have and let it acclimate for awhile. Some of the fine roots will air dry and some will grow giving it a nice appearance.

In some countries where they grow large specimens, they lift leaving the soil around roots and plant it above soil line. When the rains come, it washes all of the soil away exposing the roots.

Can clean up any unwanted roots later on.
