I do something similar. I use the "not ready" for anything I need to:
Package or repackage
Add info to the plant database
Can't decide how many to offer
I have every intention of moving all my "not ready" seeds to available before the actual swapping begins.
I keep those seeds separate from the ones ready to go. I also write down what I have on my not ready list and cross them off as I make them available.
