The coiled hoses are junk. And with the diameter of them you can blow water out of a straw with more pressure.

The expandable hoses are great, but as someone mentioned, keep them out of the sun. I got 2 years out of the one I had in the greenhouse. And you can't connect several............even if you HAVE decent water pressure, the stream at the end is minimal. I found one at the Philly garden show in March............industrial strength, and it is 5/8, not 1/2. MUCH heavier than those cheapie green ones. This one is black. I will see if I can find the label for it........Amazon has the black ones, but not this one. Amazon's are higher priced and not as good.

Mine works great in the greenhouse because I can adjust the pressure from the pump I have on my water tank.
