Sunny here today with the wind in process of changing. Supposed to be in the 'teens at night over the weekend with maybe some snow. I did fiddle a little more with the insulation in the little GH and put up some reflective emergency blankets to help bounce the diminishing sunlight around a little more. I do need to get the light bulb setup into the tall cold frame today - it will come on when the temps fall below 20. The birds at the feeders were a little scarce the past couple of days with the strong wind and a small hawk (maybe Cooper's) has been patrolling as well. The red tail hawks don't hunt as much at ground level because of all of the shrubs and trees although I have seen them go after a bird straight into my holly bushes. Guess it depends on how hungry they are.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we can't eat money. Cree proverb
