I'd like to volunteer my craptastic soil as the "nearest patch of craptastic dirt that needs fixing". I have a landscape plan in hand, so I know where things should go. I have to locate the manpower for my DIY project.
Also, I'd like to recommend inviting Al Fassezke ("Tapla" on DG) as a moderator on the soon-to-be-created "Soil and Composting" forum, when it's created. Al's thread over on Garden world website has reached the maximum limit for posts, a record-setting TWO times, and is now in its third go-round.
