Deb & Maryann.. I certainly had some surprises but thats what makes this exciting with the complex pedigrees of the more recent introductions from these guys you don't know what you will get when crossing them together and it could be a awesome assortment of colors and patterns or Duds's but it's a lot of fun to find out.

Leslie.. I agree both parents are far better but what intrigues me with this cross and a few others like it is.. I have a decent plant that bloomed with a good pedigree, the 2nd one you liked had a good stem and bud count, it was a nice flower with ruffles and had pretty much everything I wanted but the color, it is a mix of them both genetically so the question is will the next generation if I crossed it onto something else that had Browns or Oranges in it give me what I want and what plant or plants would give me the best chance to bring out the blend of colors I'm after but still keep all the other things intact. Smiling Hoping to spend some cold January days going through pedigrees in our database to come up with a plan.
