The Lady of Shalott that we have in the south of France had 'nodding' blooms until we increased its supply of water - might that be the problem with your Pat Austin? I love roses and am a sucker for all the David Austins; we have lots and lots of them (even a hedge of Harlow Carr), but sadly not Pat Austin. I made the mistake of paying my first visit to David Austin's plant centre in Albrighton and came back with an addiction and a car jammed full of plants!
