Is Watercolors Home Run the same rose as just plain Watercolors? I've grown that one for several years. It is a large rose. The colors washed out as expected, and late in the season blackspot caused it to drop almost all its leaves. It is extremely drought hardy, though.
My roses all got a good deep drink this week. We set records for rainfall...3.5 inches in just a couple of days, and ice that is now melting and filling our pond!
Some of the younger trees were doubling over from the weight of the ice, but they seem to be recovering today.
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
