This was the most I ever paid for a daylily. The first one I was shipped was mislabled - apparent after I saw the blooms. Rats! I waited until next year and they shipped a replacement. It never flowered and then died over winter from rot (Caveat: I do grow in pots). The THIRD one I ordered survived winter and even put up multiple fans - enough that I could divide it. It bloomed that year too and the blooms were lovely and plentiful. Worth the wait. I could see what everyone was talking about. THEN the rust hit. This was my first and only year with rust and it hit Shores of Time particularly hard. I just couldn't sit there and watch it spread throughout the rest of my daylilies so I pitched all those lovely blooms. I remember at the time it was over 100 degrees and I had read that rust didn't like it that hot. Phooey! It sure did in my garden....I've often thought about adding it back (that's how pretty it was in my memory), but haven't done so yet. Maybe one day.......Maryl
