This is a very pretty daylily. However, for me, it has never opened very well. It has been growing in the partial shade of an evergreen tree. This fall we trimmed a lot of the bottom branches from the tree. I hope next year, having more sun, Pink Super Spider will open better.

2020: I did move to a full sun location. This is its 2nd year blooming since the move. It opens much better, but still has a number of not-so-pretty blooms. I often live-head them because they distract from the nice looking blooms.
