I did read the cnet review and for a gardener, Edyn doesn't seem to have a good database to access individual plant data and is relying on users to build their database. And I'm not sure how it would work in a garden of diverse plantings. Nice idea but I don't think it's ready for market rollouts in my opinion. I like that it's solar powered but I'm not crazy about being "linked" to my phone to access the info. It appears to be able to work with android on a PC (maybe) and that's the route I would prefer. I rarely use my phone.
