I had missed this in the PC review:

"Moreover, in my tests, the moisture and light sensors weren't always accurate"

If he's right, that's at least two strikes.

I went back and looked because I wondered whether it had a pO2 sensor, to detect the partial pressure of oxygen 12" deep in the soil. I would love to know that my soil was aerobic that deep! Maybe a pCO2 sensor would indicate the same thing, in reverse.
