Since this is my first year with having Daylilies bloom I want to keep a database of what all is out there in the gardens. Will keep adding to this post for all the daylilies, not that there is a whole lot right now... just easier for me.

For the past few months I've been visiting the Lily Auction and purchased many seeds. My initial plan was to have preschoolers & kindegarteners in our town do their own cups with seeds at the beginning of the year to give to their momma's around Mother's Day. Well after going there a few times let's just say I was hooked. So many awesome possibilities for the flowers going through my head & I just have to bid. The kids I think are gonna have a ball!
Only just starting out, never having much to do with daylilies until last year of course I'd never started them from seeds. So I've been trying different ways ~ the rocks method, water wet papertowel in bag, makeup remover pad soaked in peroxide w/water in a bag (hanging on my wall), and peroxide just put into the bag & left in the fridge. I've learned alot from all of the experts on Cubits!!
Things are going pretty good, I think. Overall I can't really say which method has worked the greatest. I've lost a few seeds to mold with each one.
Tonight I had the pleasure of doing a little transplanting & seperating them out of their grow cups (plastic cups.) They arn't very big yet, so I figured I could get by with doing it the way I did using an egg carton. More will be ready in about a week or so and I can't hardly wait!!
So much fun to watch them grow!
