1990 side forest. Initially planted for Xmas trees, let them go and they have now evolved into an effective visual screen between us and Vanessa. 2015 trimmed the dead lower branches which opened it up, and plan to also cut out the dead trees. 2016 native ferns, salmonberry, snowberry, elderberry, and vine maples are noticeably colonizing. 2017, 5 pots planted along front creek by SCCD, blackberries overgrew these. |
