- a variegated variety; was in pretty rough shape when we got it; trimmed the damaged leaves, stuck to monthly watering schedule, & were careful to avoid soils containing fertilizer, and it thrived in our apartment – got huge (was a decent size already when we bought it but had to repot it twice to larger pots); his name was George; tarp blew‑off pickup during a cross‑country move in late Summer, 2018 and it was exposed to a storm – either that, sub‑par soil we later added to its pot, less sunlight in its placement at our new house, or a combination of those things killed it shortly after; would like another
