Red w/yellow throat, blooms at different heights. Very fast increaser. Plants are covered in flowers in bloom season.

A beautiful little gem for the rockery or for tucking into small places. This one has a different characteristic to many miniature daylilies. It is rather squat; its star-shaped flowers bunched up almost in the foliage. Very different.

Can be slow to increase. Blooms over a three to four week period.

3 way branching, with bud count at 20+. Proven cold hardy in northern gardens, is rust-resistant, and is a fast increaser.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Dorothy Lambert') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Occasionally gives a poly bloom.

Prolific grower and bloomer.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Designer Jeans') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

A dependable plant in my garden. Never skips a season of bloom where some others will.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Desdemona') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Needs a few years to establish, but once it does it's a great performer. Though not listed as a rebloomer, most years it does in my garden.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Dena Marie's Sister') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Took a long time to establish and bloom in my garden. Scapes are sturdy and well branched. Flower color is super, but sometimes spotty.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Dallas Star') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

A simple trumpet form, elegant and well-branched. A magnificent sight en masse! Blooms are just a few inches above the mounding dark green leaves.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Crimson Pirate') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Long-blooming. Very fertile parent for spider breeding. Weatherproof pigments: a very good garden plant. Looks like red velvet in the garden.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Crimson Brocade') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

This one takes a few years to settle in and start showing off. But boy is it worth the wait. A real showy red in the garden. Hard to take your eyes off of it.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Creepy Crawler') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

I've been told that the scapes are weak, hence the name of "CRAWLER". It can "crawl" in your garden, once in full bloom, some scapes had the tendency to lean outward. Easy pod parent.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Crazy Pierre') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Rapid increase, averages 23 buds, can do many more per scape.
It is an excellent increaser and is a low, compact plant.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Condilla') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Double flowered sunny gold self with good consistent form like a carnation. Black anthers, serrated edge petals and well branched scapes. Free flowering. Every flower perfectly formed and no crowding of blossoms. Low, compact plant habits, Superb foliage, easy pod parent, fertile pollen. Increases better in hot weather than cool.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Chicago Star') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Super branched scapes carry the large flowers widely.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Chicago Blackout') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

A real powerhouse once established. Heavy substance.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cherokee Vision') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

frequently poly's.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cherokee Patterns') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Though not registered as a rebloomer, CHEROKEE PATTERNS reblooms in my garden. Often poly's too.

[ Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Cat Dancer') | Posted on December 3, 2011 ]

Can be slow to establish, but once it is established, it's a very good performer. Takes two days to open fully, so you get two different looks. See my photo to see what day-one blooms look like.
