This is an amazingly beautiful iris. Wish I had bought it when it was still available.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Classicana') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Strong growing, heavy blooming iris. Comes from two great parents, Wintry Sky and Louisa's Song.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Circle of Light') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Big flowers with heavy substance. Growth is average.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Chocolates and Silk') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Wonderful flowers of a unique color. Appears to be a slow grower.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Chinook Winds') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Beautiful light reverse amoena. Vigorous plants produce heavy and reliable bloom.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Cheyenne Sky') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Its flowers are a neat blend of peach and pink shades. I've only had it two years, so it is a little early to judge, but it appears that Cheyenne Sky is only going to be an average grower, at best, in my garden.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Check It Out') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Very vigorous iris which produces very large flowers. Hasn't rebloomed (zone 5b) here yet.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Chantilly Bride') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Beautiful iris, but a slow grower here and only occasional bloomer.

[ Intermediate Bearded Iris (Iris 'Cee Jay') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Great grower, heavy bloomer. Well deserving of the Sass Medal.

[ Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris (Iris 'Cat's Eye') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Just a great iris, rampant grower.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Captain's Joy') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

A decent blue iris. I still grow it even though it's been surpassed by a number of more recent varieties.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Bye Bye Blues') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Very nice space age iris.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Brussels') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

One of the best reverse amoenas. Strong grower that blooms reliably and heavily.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Breakers') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Doesn't seem true blue to my eye. Known to rebloom, but hasn't done so here (zone 5b).

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Brazilian Holiday') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Quite a nice iris in its own right, but will perhaps end up being best known for some of the great iris it has produced. Average grower, but reliable bloomer, here.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Bountiful Harvest') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

A known rebloomer. It's never actually done so here (zone 5b). It tried once, but the stalk was frozen off before it could produce flowers.

[ Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris (Iris 'Bombay Sapphire') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Very close to a true turquoise color, especially on cloudy days. Growth is fine, but a bit slow compared to other SDBs.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Blutique') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Lovely iris, but died of bloom-out in my garden.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Blueberry Ice') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

One of the best of the traditional purple-on-white plicatas that I have grown.

[ Tall Bearded Iris (Iris 'Blueberry Bliss') | Posted on March 22, 2012 ]

Good grower, heavy bloomer.
