Is it the case that there have been not registered offspring of Hemerocallis citrina?? Given its reputed fragrance that seems strange. Is it infertile??

I thought I had lost MAKING A SPLASH, but it must be deciduous here in sub tropical Australia. Under my pine needle mulch I just found some healthy grey green knobs about to burst into leaf. I am glad as it is stunning.

Our winters are very mild. We rarely get a freeze. A few of my SEvs are deciduous here. Also a few registered as Dormants don't lose leaves here.

It is surprising that PINK AMBROSIA is rated 5.0 for rust. The pod parent is rated 1.0, as is a parent of the pollen parent. I guess one has to try lots of crosses of rust resistant plants.

I am delighted to have SPACECOAST RUFFLES sport a lovely double. First time for me, although another member farther north (slightly closer to the equator) tells me his doubles on rebloom . Mine had buds sitting on it since February. I thought they might just not open. It gets rust in my garden, but it is so beautiful in form, colour, and substance that I have just kept ripping off leaves.
