Some of the images on this page do not appear to show var. deminuta, which is named for its small (~2") rosettes with glaucous, club-shaped leaves and relatively few hairs (a tuft at the tips and a few hairs scattered along the margins). The images mostly appear to be var. minor, which usually produces bigger rosettes with thinner leaves. This is a highly variable species and even the named varieties are variable, so there is great potential for confusion when it comes to identification.
