Valleylynn asked me to post this picture here. It was in one of the AHS (daylilies) tour gardens this past weekend.
I just ordered sempervivums and would love to find where they sell these.

LYNN, as you were probably typing the last message I was over in the semp seed forum looking at older photos of your now-must-be-older semp-lings and then I was looking at some of your this spring's "red" collection like Flintstone, Fiesta, Rauhreif, etc. You seem to be one busy lady...I could only hope to be as constructive and productive in all these ways (semp-wise and non-semp-wise) as you are able to be. Have a good wkend!

Unfortunately something got into the seedling bed and literally dug up the entire bed. I probably have 5 that I was able to rescue. I repaired the bed and put bird netting over it.
It is actually pretty easy to grow semps in raised beds and doesn't take all that much work.

Tarev, looks like a fun project. Will it be meant to hang outside or sit on the patio table or both /
When it gets more established I can see bringing in the Ball Planter for a day inside and use as a table centerpiece. How beuautiful it will be. Now you make me feel like I need to start a project...

Great job tarev. Love the idea of being able to bring it indoors for special occasions. It will be so much fun to see it filled out this coming year. I really like the mix of color and texture that you used.

All my succulents stays outdoors year round, so it might stay that way. Big Grin I would like to hang it too...just waiting for the cuttings to root well. I found my succulents are waking up now from their summer slumber so hoping they attach well before colder weather sets in. Smiling

I loooooove it. Lovey dubby

Thank you for the reminder about coming into growing season for many of the tender succulents. It is the opposite of what we usually think of growing season being.
