I have recently ordered a pound of these seeds to replace the grass in my yard. I purchased a gallon at Maggie's Herb farm back in about 2006 and 1 gallon spread to about 200 sq ft.
This was in Jacksonville, Fl and now I am 250 miles south.
If I had taken plugs and replanted, I believe it would have covered the whole yard. It doesn't hurt to mow it, but thats more for weed control. It also encourages more flowers which are edible.
Another fact I learned about "Ornamental Peanut" from Maggie's Herbs is that birds wallow in it if they get lice.

I had quite a collection of flowering vines here and they had smothered out all grass and everything else. The ground is bare, the moon is waxing. Come on seeds! Hurray!

@Sugarweed, Sidney, this would be a good comment to add to the plant entry itself, which can be done on the left side of the entry under the 'Comments' section and then the comment can be seen by anyone opening the entry. Right now you have it attached to the image above submitted by robertduval14, thus starting a thread in the Plant Photos forum.
If you click on the plant name above the photo it will take you directly to the plant entry.
