Hi,

Another possibility is 'Flore Pleno' and I'm leaning a bit toward that.

There is a thread (maybe 2) in the Daylilies forum comparing 'Kwanso' [correctly 'Green Kwanso'] with 'Flore Pleno'. I suggest checking out those. If it is either of those it should have a rhizomatous growth habit,

Pat

To me Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Flore Pleno') always looked like a daylily within a daylily, as most of the photos show. Then again, many Kwanso photos look like that too.

Here is one of the threads Pat mentioned.

I think that the two are often mixed up. This picture from the AHS database is what I've always thought was 'Flore Pleno':

My 'Kwanso' has a muddled centre with petaloid stamens, not as tidy a flower as 'Flore Pleno' and more like the ID flower:

The flowers, at least on 'Kwanso', can be somewhat variable so it can probably help to look at several on a clump rather than just one.
