Pharaohs poet is interesting and kinda like it. hello romance and how wonderful I really like and wonder never cease is nice.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics to share currently.

Did not take any pictures, plus I am a bad photographer.

perhaps these are the three most expensive irises for my heart this season..

I think the arils, arilbred are always expensive since they can be quirky to grow.

The way the colors fade on this are awesome.. great form, nice edges.. If I ever scale down, I'm keeping this one.


I've got several PCI's...but this one is a show stopper..


Some nice diamond dusting on this one.. a very prolific bloomer.


Love the colors on this one, but the standards feel a little wimpy..


The color can be variable dependent on age and lighting..

This is a species of iris acutiloba ssp. lineolata (iris helena) from Azerbaijan from the Aril section.

I really like California irises, I am delighted with them. But so far I've only seen them bloom in photos

You would have to try PCI from seeds. That is the only way they survive in New England & even that is temporary.

The above sdlng falls are so wide, they almost give the flower a "cup and saucer" effect. Sweet, almost talcum powder scent



Standards not proportional to the falls -- if it exhibits this same trait this year -- into the compost it goes. Like the candy pinkish color. Slight musky fragrance, unfortunately



Decent, has definate potential but poor branching initially. Noticeable vanilla-cream scent



Nice color, but nothing out of the ordinary. Faint musky hay-like scent

I love them all. I would take each of them in a heartbeat.
