Thank you Char for posting these sites. I just looked through Howard's website -- oh my! The streaks, stripes, and stipples remind me of the annual 4 o'clocks (Mirabilis jalapa). It is amazing what a focused breeding program can do.

I agree, focused hybridizing can produce some amazing flowers. Rich has been working on the striped and variegated flowers for quite a few years now and is seeing amazing results from his program.

Another update, I actually found this one a few days ago while playing on the internet but waited until it was announced in case he wasn't completely finished adding the new info.

Ron Reimer, Signature Daylilies, has 4 new 2023 intro's. Light Fandango is pretty cool with the teeth and pattern. Bicolor Bonanza has a very bright color combination!

Those are beautiful, Char. Maybe someday. His intros are a bit pricey.

I have several new-to-me daylilies from Ron, and I'm eager to see how they do before I order more. I really love that he makes rust resistance a priority in his hybridizing.

Yes, the new intro's tend to be pricey. His earlier ones are down in the reasonable price range.
I hope the ones you have grow well and prove to be rust resistant.

He has a big yellow future with a red eye, and a huge deep purple seedling with a huge white broken pattern eye that I would mortgage my house to have in my garden! YUMMY!

If anyone plans to order from Amador Flower Farm, they are taking orders for March delivery. Amador carries a lot of older cultivars at excellent prices. Their plants are small but healthy, and they do not offer bonus plants, but their prices are so reasonable that you won't miss the bonus.

Nan - Have you ordered from Amador Flower Farm this past year? I noticed that they have not updated their order and shipping info since 2018, so not sure if that is still the price they charge to ship them.

I last ordered from Amador one year ago and received my order in March (2022).

I just went onto their site, and the announcement I referred to earlier (saying they were accepting orders for March shipment) seems to be gone. So I don't know what is up with that. Maybe send them an email?

Becky, I just ordered from Amador Farm for the first time last week. Seeing you and Nan's post I checked my email. January 6th I recieved an email from Amador stating that they have the daylilies I ordered but are not shipping until March 1st 2023 and let them know if I wanted to cancel. When I placed the order I assumed Spring Shipping. Anyway, I just emailed back asking for shipping in April, way too cold to plant anything here in March. Total shipping cost for 4 plants was $13.00. One of the plants I ordered double of but I don't think that matters in terms of shipping costs. First time ordering there so it's good to know that they promptly emailed me about my order. I just need to check my email more often.
