Bill and his wife Diana will be our club's guest speakers Saturday the 11th. Really looking forward to that. He will have a plant auction, but will not have the plants with him, they will be delivered later after they re-coupe a bit from the low teens weather we had. I guess I had better look at their web site again and see if they might be something I can afford.

I almost bought their ??berry Splatter...forgot name. I passed so far as it has undefineable as a parent and I have lost that plant at least twice.
I did get off the track on LA with cglilies...cottage garden.

The plant is awesome, Pam. But the bud-count is a little low.
I will live vicariously and hope someone else buys it and posts amazing photos.

Sometimes when I look at hybridizers new intros they all seem to have a similar look about them. These new intros look like they could be from a dozen different hybridizers. So many really different looking ones, I think these are some of the best Gossard intros I have seen. Now, If only I could afford any of them.
Just looking at the new intros I can't even began to guess what would be the "focused goal" of his program? It looks like it covers almost everything.

I agree, sometimes a hybridizer can get too focused on something.
I think the Stamile releases look very similar the last two years. Which made me sad as they had a nice diversity previously.

But, Jamie Gossard does seem to be so very diverse even today and that is cool. No idea how he does it, but well done.

Jamie Gossard's 2023 intros has the absolute WOW factor! Fantastic! I can't even pick a favorite! Some of them just blow my imagination! He's done some amazing daylily breeding with these intros!

I agree, Jamie has some very nice intro's this year. It would be hard to pick a favorite! Vanilla Ripples is very cool. Amazon Rain has an applique and looks like it can show spots too. Twisted Peppermint is real cute, wish it was a mini flower though.

I am pretty excited about some Mike Holmes seeds I bought in fall 2022. But the cultivars are not yet listed in these 2023 releases. Which surprised me.
Possibly 2024 releases? Or perhaps "straight-to-DVD" i.e. registered but will not ever be released.
The ADS website says it is withholding the information for now.

One seedling looks healthy and big, one died, a couple are only a few weeks old so not making a call on that, and I have a couple more yet to germinate.
Overall, I am running late on these.

Those should be some interesting seedlings Orion. Both are 2022 registrations so the registration info should be released soon.
