If you found your way here, you probably heard that Cubits is scheduled to be shut down at some time in the near future.

Here's a place for us to gather and chat. And a place to get your bearings if you aren't familiar with this site, Garden.org.

I didn't know cubits was still active. I got a lot of nice plants from MamaJack's co-op.

It's been running for 13 years.
I too got a lot of great plants from Barbara, last time she posted there was May 2016.

I'm not a lost soul either but I'm sure going to miss Cubits. It's like my fingers automatically go there just about every morning when I turn my computer on! It's going to be a big empty spot when they're gone!!

Oh -- I kind of like Lost Souls. That's exactly what I feel like -- I'm another that heads to Cubits first thing in the morning. And I'm a lost soul without it.

Still go to Cubits every day and also here from the beginning. Biggest difference is the amount of members here which has it's good and bad points.

Oh yes. Our word games zip by with so many members participating now.

DG was my first "go to" and then it & Cubits, then Garden.org (it was something else first, but can't remember.........)
Currently, I have my 3 "go to"s........ I'm feeling lost without Cubits for the past 13 years. I hear it will close "soon", but that's a relative word. When's "soon"?

Very soon. If you have any pictures or files you want to save from there, we are asked to remove/copy them as soon as we can.

Susan -- Dave said that the 'patch' he put in place to get Cubits up and running again, would not last very long. His words: "Days, maybe weeks -- not months".

Makes me so sad. Cubits was home.

That reminds me, I tried to sign up for garden.org and was told, " You are already a member!" I had no clue as to what was going on at the time...

there's nothing on Cubits that I can't recreate if needed, but I can't think what it might be. I have all my Scottish recipes on my HD, and as for people's reactions to things........ or to the Round Robin quilting we did. I actually have that on my HD & on paper. (yeah, I'm THAT old fashioned!)

Cubits was the first site I ever joined and still use it just about every day, it will be missed.
