86/65 and sunny today- back to work at the office. Blooms are really starting to come in now

Still waiting on bloom, only the very earliest are cracking. It's been cool here, which is fine with me. Today will be mostly cloudy and hit 70 degrees. Down to 53 tonight. I won't be in the garden much today. I have to teach and also have a visit to my Oncologist. I also need to go get prescriptions and go food shopping. I hate when life gets between me and my yard!

The early morning weather news here on this first day of summer was that this Sunday they are predicting 111 and on Monday 112. Not good news to wake up to and no rain predicted.

Not fair, Linda, sure wish I could send you some rain and cooler weather. Though be careful what you wish for; I wished for rain and it's rained for three days with totals between 4 - 6.5". Not that we didn't need it, however it seems to be feast or famine.

Unseasonably cool here, 63/54. Drizzling at the moment. Rain all day, diminishing in coverage and intensity later tonight. We still have at least three more days of rain predicted.

for the offer, Donna. That much rain would cause serious flooding here, however, and my roof would probably leak.

After watching storms one after another go around us we are finally getting a light but soaking rain today. It doesn't feel like summer here with temps in the 60s.

on those forecast temps Linda. Our forecast was for upper 80's the rest of the week. Now it's upper 70's so there will be a few more perfect days for working in the garden. It'll sure help to get the weeding done. Sunny all day with temps 53 & 76.

Sunny and warm today with a forecast high of 82F or 28C. I will find a shady spot and do some weeding. There is always endless weeding!

Our weather guy was wrong this time and he's usually spot on. Rain was supposed to "diminish" late yesterday, never happened and it's still raining, at times heavily. 63/56 today; foggy.
